Een nieuwe serie gefotografeerd in 2018 en 2019. Parkeerplaatsen langs de snelwegen in Nederland, Duitsland, Italie en Frankrijk. Zoals in de meeste van mijn projecten is het decor waar menselijke activiteit zich afspeelt ook nu het onderwerp.
A new series photographed made in 2018 and 2019. As in most of my photo projects *), the scenery where human activity takes place is the theme of this series. In this case the parking spaces or parkingscapes along the European highways. They have a special landscape quality, silent and anonymous, arranged for a short stay. The street furniture provides the decor, benches, lampposts, road signs, toilet buildings and fences. Sometimes taken care of down to the last detail but often neglected and forgotten.
